We were born in one of the most happening cities in the southern part of India – Chennai. 22 years later, we moved to Singapore in pursuit of a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and found ourselves living in an ideal base camp to explore South East Asia and beyond. What we initially viewed as an effective way to switch-off from our arduous work life, soon became a passion. Our love for photography and affinity towards different cultures just made every trip even more exhilarating!
Having travelled to more than 60 destinations around the globe, we firmly believe that there is no better way to refill one’s brain juices than visiting a new place – it can even be a new street in your neighbourhood – and we hope, through this channel, we can inspire YOU to travel more often!

A Portfolio Specialist by profession, I am aroused by creativity – be it in art, food, or fashion. A perky ambivert who can easily be kidnapped with an aromatic cup of coffee as bait, I often find myself torn between having my hair straightened or curled, ordering frappe or mocha, and choosing chic comfort or artsy bohemian fashion. I have mastered the art of binging on junk food after weeks of mindful, healthy eating. That’s me in a nutshell!
My love affair with exploring new destinations started to bloom when I began travelling with Shiv – the best companion I could have wished for. From being someone who gets anxious about unfamiliar surroundings and holds back from stepping out of my comfort zone to becoming this serial traveller who looks at the world like a treasure waiting to be unravelled, I’ve come a long way! Isn’t that what a relationship does to you? It instilled a strong sense of security and comfort that, now, all I dream about is wandering off the beaten path to the remotest parts of the planet with a backpack full of curiosity!
Shiv Says Hello
I am a Manufacturing Engineer by day and writer of excessively long Instagram captions by night. Kind of like Batman who, by the way, I think is so much cooler than Superman. I am 27 at the time of writing just in case you are wondering after that Batman vs Superman rant. I dance well enough to choreograph for College Talent fests and Sangeet functions (funnily, including my own), idolize Chandler Bing – could he BE more awesome? – and belong to the rare species who like pineapples on pizza. On Premier League nights, you can find me in-front of my TV screen with a fruity cider or a craft beer in hand.
I began experimenting with a DSLR purely to prevent dust from settling on an expensive gadget that was gifted to me by my father. From carrying it around to snap social media profile pictures for my friends to capturing the essence of every location I visit, I’ve come a really long way! Nish has been the subject for all my photography trials – the most patient, bubbly model that I could have wished for. With every picture, I fall deeper in love with her and every destination looks several-fold dreamier with her in the foreground. I look forward to many more instances of waking up in the middle of the night for a flight, filling up suitcases to the brim only to realise they’re well over the permitted weight, spending months preparing for weekend getaways and making countless memories in the process.
